Workshop Description: These days, who couldn’t use some inspiring words to live by? This workshop will teach you how to create some wonderful, whimsical, and wordy art dolls! We will be hand coloring a variety of images with various mediums and then assembling them. We will also be embellishing them with various found objects such as buttons, leaves, flowers, and charms to add character. You are only limited by your imagination, but if you’re stuck I have tonnes of ideas to share with you. The end result will be wonderful little art dolls that would be make wonderful gifts for anyone who needs a lift….or maybe just keep them for yourself!
Kit Fee: $15
includes collage images, chipboard, paints, wire, collage kit, glitter and use of instructor’s tools
Student supplies: Gel medium
Assorted paint brushes in various sizes (including one fine detail brush)
Rubber brayer
Water container for brushes
Heat gun or hair dryer & extension cord
Scissors
