Workshop Description: Have you dreamed of making a living from selling your art? Judy Wise has been a self supporting artist for 35 years and she will share with you everything she knows about licensing, art fairs, selling in galleries, studio sales, web sales and home sales. She has licensed her work for greeting cards, educational materials, tapestries, gift paper, cross stitch kits and calendars. Her work has appeared in magazines, on book covers and in craft books. She believes that where there’s a will there’s a way and she has mentored other artists into successful art careers. This is an evening class, informal in nature, where Judy will offer to answer questions and address individual situations as time allows. There will be a workbook outlining how to put together a press release, an introductory packet for galleries, a sample licensing agreement, sample contracts for poster and greeting card companies and information on how to find and apply to local art fairs. This class will have you using your precious creativity to think in original ways about generating art sales and creating a road map for your art career.
