The Artful Journal
- 6 hour class
$145
Judy Wise

Student Level: all skill levels

Workshop Description:
Bring your journals or blank books and join me in a day of exploration and fun. We’ll start right off with a series of exercises geared to break down the wall of resistance when faced with a blank page. Then we’ll make blue block stamps, experiment with paint, monoprint and water soluble crayons; stencils, stamp pads, sumi ink, collage and various acrylic mediums. We will explore hand drawn letter forms and consider composition and placement of words and images. We will discuss what the journal can do and how we can use it as a springboard to other projects. This will be a fast moving class for all levels. I will cover all my favorite journaling techniques and send each student home with new skills to keep them inspired and renewed.
